The first public consultation period for the Development Plans commenced on
Friday, the 15th June. As part of this a total of seven public meetings
are being held around the county. After last week's very interesting
meeting in Kilkenny City, the second public meeting is taking place tonight
in Grennan College, Thomastown at 7.30pm. Details of all the meetings are

Tonight's meeting will focus on the two topics of Tourism and Retail.
Our guest speaker tonight is Amanda Horan, Client Services, Enterprise
Support with Fáilte Ireland. If you are interested in either topic, or in
development in the county in general, please come along.
As a registered user, you will receive regular updates as the two year
development plan process moves along. We encourage you to ask other
friends/neighbours etc. to sign up so that they too can become involved and
participate in planning for our future.
